Doing Your Best.

Many times doing your best is all you need to do. Not really doing extraordinary, or doing perfection, or killing you. It will be cool anyway if we do extraordinary. But when we can’t do extraordinary, doing all we can do, doing the best we can do is an option.
Doing your best in the reconciliation process.
Doing your best in your new resolutions.
Doing your best in your relationships.
Doing your best at work.
Doing your best in your personal development.
Doing your best in your Academics.
Best is saleable. The best are always recognized regardless of political, economic, religion and ethnic background. The people who are doing their best are always the ones who get the chance to be recognized or rewarded. Though it might take time, but the pay is worth it. The pay is worth it, not just about the reward but more about what it will make of you. The satisfaction, the confidence and the knowledge it will build round you.
Aim to be the best. The best are always recognized.

What Are The Intentions For Your Actions?

Intention action

Intention action

What are the intentions for your actions? Why are you doing the things you are doing today or things you hope to do today or tomorrow?

Every action has backup intention, I believe so.

Every single action we perform in every of our day to day activities are performed with an intention, from the moving of our eyeballs down to the lifting of our feet, all are performed for a reason, for a purpose with an intention, in many cases the intentions are known to us, some times it’s unknown, many times it’s consciously, some times it’s unconsciously.

But, It will be more productive and meaningful if we consciously state clear or bear in mind the intentions for all our conscious actions.

Like consciously stating why we want to go to school or why we are in school?

Why we want a job or why we are working on a job?

Why you want to go or why we are always going to the Gym everyday or some days?

Why do you need to learn that new skills or whatever?

Why do you need to look good, why do you need those new clothes.. or whatever?

Why do you need to subscribe to that mobile data or whatever?

Why do you need to quit your job or not quite it or whatever?

Why do you and why do you not….. the list goes on.

It might be short or long term intentions or mid term or whatever.

As a writer I have an intention, my intention is to publish books, I have being publishing post or article almost every day, but my intention is to publish books, though am working on one, I hope you will read it, when it’s published.

I would have said my intention is to make money or to instruct people or to inspire people or to encourage people. No, not because I don’t need the money, I swear down… I need the money more than you do.. but now my intention for writing is to publish books, maybe when I publish books my intention will change to making money or may not, whatever it maybe I am much around to experience it.

Though, to instruct, inspire and encourage people are things I feel passionate about, and which am actually doing, but my core intention today for writing is to publish books.

For you I don’t know what it’s for you, I don’t know about your next or current actions, and also your intentions, but I know you perform actions, you under activities every day which are backed up by intentions.

So I don’t know if you will take my ideas and opinions, but I also want to let you know that all the ideas and opinions here are suggestive rather than imposing, so you might take it or leave it.

But there are benefits or good reasons or whatever, of consciously having in mind the intention of your conscious actions.

Determining the intentions of your conscious actions might save you some time or resources or maybe save your future or help you reach perfection, whatever it’s, consciously determining intentions of actions will not limit you, rather it will help shape the way your actions are performed and many times it gives reasons why not to perform an actions, that is not limitation, that is effective management of your time.

Also, consciously determining intentions for actions allow you to see the end picture through visualization or imagination, which can motivate and inspire you to beat procrastination, concentrate and put in the necessary effort needed to perform an action in a profound way.

You can figure out more benefits of consciously determine the intention before action, I know you are smart enough maybe even smarter than me.

But whatever way you chose to see it, just know that your actions today determines how your life will be tomorrow.

Long Term Benefit of Decisions, Thoughts and Actions.

Benefit of thought

Benefit of thought

The major purpose of any investment is the long term benefit of its output or reward. Investments are done today, so to earn tomorrow (in practical world we all know how long it takes for it to mature)

Farmers also operate on this principle (if it could be called principle) they plant their seeds in the winter and wait long till summer to harvest.

I have come to understanding that many are unwilling to act upon things they know won’t grant them immediate gratification or reward(I’m a case study of this) we always want to engage in things that pays off instantly, that is why Ponzi schemes and get rich quick material will always sell out.

Before now, i have always wanted to engage in things that will reward my actions, knowledge and skills if not instantly at least not too long.

Am not against the fact that there are opportunities and ideas that can give us immediate reward or that we should engage in unproductive activities for the sake of long term benefit.

But my intention here is to draw attention to the fact that “the tomorrow we were talking about yesterday is today” what brought us to the place we are this day is the compilation of our thoughts and actions of our previous years, months, weeks and days. I wish I knew this long ago.

Majority of people are impatient.

We always want to receive value but not willing to give.

We are unwilling to wait for our ideas to mature so to yield us abundant fruit, by even that we fail to act upon the ideas we have conceived because the rewards are not obvious (probably in the short-term).

My opinion here might not serve everyone, for some has already learnt the lesson of planting and reaping from farmers. While some, their life’s or means of living are based on daily earnings.

We might not have the resources to invest in stock market, set up a business and much other things, but that doesn’t eliminate the fact that we are responsible for our future.

If you are a student, the same effort, thoughts and actions you put in chasing for admission few years back, if put in other activities will still yield positive results just like it yields you opportunity to study. If you are a doctor if you put in the same effort, thoughts and actions you have already put in your training as a doctor in other professions there’s possibility you will also get your reward, this is applicable to all professions or endeavours. We understand this principle in some areas of life but limit it in other important aspect of life. We forget that our everyday activities matters to our future.

Human are patient enough to spend about 4 to 7 years of their years in studying a course, but unwilling to do little things of value that has no immediate but long-term reward.

Some once said, The best way to predict the future is to create it today.

I suggest when next we have an opportunity to decide or act upon something, we should not limit our decisions based on immediate reward but the long term benefits of our decision or actions.

My decisions, thoughts and actions of five years ago, made up my today that I’m living, so what ever am living now I created it for myself (if they are not what I wish it to be, it’s my fault) and what ever am going to live tomorrow will still depend on my decisions, thoughts and actions today. So is you. We have the ability to invest in our future today through our decisions, thoughts and actions.

We must look into the future what we want and invest in it today, decisions, thoughts and actions required to achieve our wants.

If we keep focusing on the short-term benefits of our actions, we will never create a long term benefits for ourselves.

Give value today to receive value tomorrow.

Offer help to humanity and humanity will help you achieve your purpose.
